Positive research

Our network will provide networking opportunities to build closer collaborative relationships between disciplines.

GIBA members benefit from increased visibility, access to funding opportunities, participation in focused working groups, and engagement with training and events. The network also supports knowledge exchange, helping research findings move more effectively toward real-world health and societal impact.

It will also signpost existing UK infrastructure and resources, with a strong focus on an inclusive and positive research culture that particularly fosters the development and visibility of early-career researchers.  The GIBA Network+ is supported by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.

Search our Network

Searching the GIBA network opens doors to a dynamic, interdisciplinary community dedicated to advancing our understanding of how the gut, immune system, and brain interact.

By exploring the network’s searchable member database, working groups, research highlights, and training opportunities, users can quickly identify experts, projects, and collaborations that align with their interests.

Whether you are a researcher, clinician, policymaker, or student, searching the GIBA network helps you connect with the people and resources driving cutting-edge investigations into gut-immune-brain mechanisms – bridging disciplines that traditionally operated in isolation.
